St Michael's Hospice - Venus Challenge T-shirt 2011
I have recently designed this years St.Michael's Hospice Venus Challenge T-Shirt, as I volunteer for them by helping out with some design work. I was really excited about designing the T-Shirt because I took part in the event last year and will be taking part this friday too, so couldn't wait to see my design on 1,500 T-shirts. I made it quite different from last years design as they were looking to change the design and also to celebrate the 5 year anniversary of the event. The hospice is very close to my heart as they care for a lot of unwell people and the event is a fantastic way to help the charity raise lots of money to take care of their patients and their families. Theres still time to take part so register today: http://www.st-michaels-hospice.org.uk/latest-news/events/venus-challenge-2011

Summer Show 2011
These are the two pieces I put up for our Summer Show, they are quick off prints which are graphic illustrations of characters from a short story called The Half-Skinned Steer. This was one of my self initiated projects and I chose to develop a project I did in the first year as I really enjoyed doing it and was different to the graphics I am used to doing. The quality of the images aren't great as they are photographs from the show.

Annoying words
After spending a whole day doing letter press these are my posters of annoying/hated words, I am now going to develop the idea further and see what I can create digitally. This is supposed to be for the final show but I am not 100% what I actually want to show just yet.
Love/Hate Photographs
These are the final photographs from the Love/Hate project, the bottom photographs were taken from the Art 360 shop. Art 360 was a shop that are class had the opportunity to show and sell our work in, so I decided to make 8 cushions with the Love/Hate design on them, on the front is the Yummy design and on the bag is a multiple pattern of Cupcake and Love.
Measure Project
For this project we had to create an info graphic on anything we wanted, so I decided to measure Facebook as it is so popular. I chose to recreate a Facebook home page where the status' were facts about the site. This project was challenging because after doing a survey I then had to create all the symbols and type from scratch and it had to look the same as the original site.
