Christmas Photographs

Merry christmas!! I have just brought my new Canon SLR camera and here are the first few photos i have taken, i love to take close up photographs so that explains why there is only one landscape photo.

Love/Hate wrapping paper

This is a continuation of my previous love/hate post, i decided to see how much further i could develop it and i thought wrapping paper would be quite a good idea so this is just me messing around with the idea i think it looks better printed out though.

Gardening for Wildlife

In our second year we were asked to design a website from a choice of subjects, so i decided to choose the website on wildlife for primary school children, the pages vary but also give instructions and information to children on different things on wildlife. I really enjoyed this project and i like the look of the website.

Hereford Shopping

This is a piece from my second year of my degree, we were asked to link the original hereford shopping with the new edgar street grid shopping. I have tried to link it by using images that sum up Hereford and blend them into a fashion shoe and i also tried to match with the font to give it the right image.

Hereford Youth Service

This is my most recent piece, it is a live brief set by Herefordshire Council where we were asked to redesign their mini bus for the Youth Service. I have made mine fairly simple but tried to use eye catching colours to stand out. My main idea was to use type as image like we did in our first year because i liked the effect it had.

Multipage document

In this project we were given a piece of text that we have to lay out as a multipage document, here is my first page of the document, i have finished the other pages too but i am still adjusting them and this is a page i am happy with so thought id show it on here.

Children's Trust Logo

This is a piece i completed in my second year, we were given a brief from the Council to produce a logo for the children's trust in Herefordshire. Here are my final designs....

love/hate

We were given a brief on love/hate and after brainstorming i decided to use Cupcakes as my thing that i loved. So i baked about 40 cupcakes and decided to bite the cupcakes into the shape of each letter. I am still in the process of editing the photographs but this is the first stage of my idea.
